About StandBy
StandBy is a planning and alarm system, mainly used by emergency workers, such as firefighters, lifeguards and emergency responders. StandBy ensures there are sufficient emergency workers available or present in case of emergency. The current and future preparedness of stations is proactively monitored and visable for the control room and safety region. The availablity of emergency workers can be edit manually or automatically via geo fencing and by beacons. StandBy can communicate or alarm automatically via different channels to different user groups.

My Role
For StandBy I was responsible for the design of the Android app, the iOS app and parts of the web interface. I designed flows for new functionalities, implemented improvements and continuously ensured that the design was user-friendly and up to date. I did this not only by user testing and following design trends, but also by investigating new technical possibilities.
I also created the brand design of StandBy. This consist of the logo and various promotional materials such as business cards, brochures, roll up banners and stickers.
